So, after two plane rides, a trip across Texas, surprising Gramma and a huge dinner at Golden Coral... It was about 10 going on 11 when we went to bed. X3 Long day and I was STILL up at seven am. what the fuck is wrong with me?? 8D
Anyway.... Teffi's met some of the family. Bradley and his girls and wife. (X3 I met them two, but Bradley knew me X3), Nini, Papa Bear and Traci in person finally, Raymond, Cory and gramma. Every one seems to like her so far. ^ ^ b Cool beans, yo~
Thanksgiving meal is tomorrow, actually, as Nana is off. We also do family pictures then too. Today, we have no idea what we're doing and same with Saturday. Papa bear hopes to take us to go see Happy Feet at the theatre. I hope we get to go.
So..... I guess that's it for now. We have intranet at the hotel. :3 And I'll be getting alot of cool software from Papabear for Tabbers....Cool beans ^ ^ b

Anyway. I went by Winn Dixie today, since we had to go pay the electric bill, and talked to Mary Ann, because I put in to have a few days off in Nov. to go see family in Texas. However I didn't know if it went through, so I asked her and she checked for me. And while I was there she approved it. That's right, you read that correct. 8D She approved it, with me glancing right over her shoulder. Before I left I emptied my mail box and sure neough the message said approved.
I'm flying out to Texas, with Teffi, for Thanksgiving, to spend it with my real dad, his wife and his side of the family. This is going to be the best Thanksgiving. Ever.

Okay, so to clear somethings up:
1. While Maya had provided interesting points about the fact that Hikaru could have been merely hibernating, she wasn't. Poor Hikaru was dead as a doornail. We burried her in a pot full of plants.
2. < < And yes, Kaoru and Hikaru were from Wal-Mart, but I'm fairly certain that it was the lack of COMPLETE preperation of transfering my loverly Hikaru the other day that had been her down fall. However, it is all in the past and we shall make sure to be extra careful this time around.
And now for something completely differentan update.
Yesterday Teffi stayed home, we had had a rather long and none to pleasant evening monday night, so she had mom call her in. Sometime after noon Jen came over and we went out to get my paycheck and..... A new Hikaru! > > And no, not from Wal-Mart this time.
Though I'm going to chase a rabbit here and give a small squeal. According to Jen, her first Beta, a rather Halloween-y looking male, has some bubbles and foam around his bowl. Aparently he's quite pleased and has made a bubble nest. >w< > > Kara says that it also means he's ready to breed. X3
But yea, we went to Wal-Mart to pick up some more shinies to line the bowls, get a scoop thinger to lessen the traumatization of moving the fish with our hands, and to pick up some stuff to put into their water so that the tap water doesn't kill them. Afterwords we went out to lunch then headed for PetSmart to get another fish, another bowl and some plants. :3
The transfer of the fish into the new bowls, including Jen's new Crown male beta into our old bowl, has been successful. We're keeping our fingers crossed that we're doing this the right way now. *nod nod*
Kit came over last night, we did a bit of D&D after creating level one characters. Andrew refused to let us play with our rapetastic set. But that was fine >3 Kit took a few pictures of Hikaru and Kaoru so hopefully I'll get those soon and you guys can see the babies~

Hikaru Hitachiin Usagi Troth
D.O.B is unkown but she was brought into the Ash family household Saturday, September 9th, 2006. Loved by all, her unfortunate death was found out on Monday, September 11th, 2006 at approximately 1:20 am. Cause of death is unknown.
Not much is there to say, considering we had just moved her into a new container, due to the fact that the two were not getting along. Having left the house to hang out with Andrew's D&D group, we returned home a bit later then we would have liked and found her unmoving in the new tank. She'd been acting odd since her transfer, but it was simply thought to be anger at me... Currently she is unmoved from her tank, still floating (sorta) in the water amongst the shiny rocks. I've been unable to move her...
Kaoru seems to be doing fine... We're afraid to move her now... But things seem well with the small red one... We're thinking of possibly getting a new fish tomorrow. Sudden, yes, but I feel that Kaoru deserves some sort of company... We might try for a Hikaru 2. ...
But for now it is almost 2 am... Andrew still has yet to come home and Teffi has school in the morning. We should sleep it over and quite possibly get a new fish... We'll see.
If you can, and I know it seems silly, but please try to give Hikaru a moment of silence...
